I would say two reasons for that:
First one: It was sent out to the NISA followers trough twitter, e-mail and was announced at Rosenqueen, but I saw next to nothing about it on other places.

So the first one is to few people knowing about it

Second is: Simple, the news arrived to late. Those that were interested in Badman had already bought it for PSP as a download and didn´t want to spend the money again on getting a UMD disc.

Which is understandable. But a shame. I forgot about it and remembered it a day to late

I bought Disgaea 3, so I'm not part of the problem why it didn't do well. It is unfortunate that it didn't sell well, and I understand it's all about making things to sell… I guess I just wish things would sell better. Then again, I can't even get Badman! on UMD anymore… because there was no demand.

Main reason for Disgaea 3 failing: It was for the PS3 while it was expensive so many couldn´t get it.

Along with many many people claiming that Disgaea wasn´t a PS3 worthy title since it was still 2d on a 3d background and that many would rather have seen Disgaea 3 for PS2 instead.

And so many more things.

To me, Disgaea 3 rocked and was really fun to play. Not as fun as Disgaea 2 sure but was still worth the money.

I'm curious, what do you consider a good TRPG? Ogre Battle 64 is one of my personal favorites. Valkyria Chronicles maybe?

They did – Disgaea 3 – it sold worse than the PSP remakes.

So actually I guess that's why they are doing La Pucelle, rather than make more Disgaea sequels (which would be kind of weird doing on the PSP), they can do sequels to that on the PSP (which wouldn't be weird).
