image Shonen Jump confirmed Namco Bandai will release Naruto Shippuden: Narultimate Accel 3 under the name Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 in North America (thanks for the tip ryne11!!).

The upcoming PSP game adds four player ad-hoc fights and Kakashi Chronicles characters to CyberConnect2’s formula. Young Kakashi, Obito and Team Hebi members Karin and Sugetsu are among the newcomers in the thirty-five character plus roster.

Here’s a three minute look at Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 which comes out in Japan on December 10 and is slated for a spring 2010 release in North America.

    This is freaking amazing.

I haven’t been this excited for a game in a LONG while..

I’ve always dreamed of a Narutimate game with 4 on 4 battles.

i found out a couple of weeks ago that the US version will have less characters than the japanese version.

    • ryne11

What source is this? There is no reason for them to cut anything, especially since they released Accel/UN4 before the Shippuden dub hit stateside plus the position of the manga and subbed episodes already available in North America. (dubbing for Team Pigeon and Pain ought not be a problem, because some of the voice actors confirmed a while ago that they were dubbed up to the Sanbi Arc, which makes it likely that rhey are even closer now.)
Ever since that Uzumaki Chronicles 1 fiasco, Namdai usually don’t mess with Naruto games too much

      • http://thrust-the-sky.deviantart.com/ WildArms

namco bandai wont do something like that -.- (i doubt they have the manpower to do it anyway)

  • ryne11

Unfortunately, I still do not have a PSP.

  • unkwown

seriusly just get the jap version.. just to stay on the safe side i mean its only 2 weeks away. waiting 4 months for horrible dubs is stuid. just buy the japanese version. the eng versipon might now have pain. the u.s doesn’t deserve a game this great especially since they failed to release accel 2 in america. thats unforgivable nancobandai america.

    • ryne11

Subjective Opinion which is null, especially when almost all Namcobandai Naruto games have Japanese options.

And there was no reason to release a game that wouldn’t make them a profit

    • http://thrust-the-sky.deviantart.com/ WildArms

if its in japanese i would understand only 25% of it, if im lucky -.-

  • Kiryu

Actually CC2 is incharge of character cuts and they have done it before. They will most likely will split the Jap version into two games to make more money. They’ve done this before. UNH1 and UNH2 are living proof of this statement. 35+ always means up to 37 or up to a total of 40 chars. The Jap version has over 50 chars.

2010 march your well come naruto fans

  • wharcraff

Well at least this is coming stateside. Hope the sales of it don’t displease Namdai. Cause they might think bout leaving their next sequel(accel? or NUNS2)
    for the eastern market.
