Layton series sells very well in EU, and modestly well in America. So I think taken together, the Layton series sells more in EU and America than Japan, so I don't understand why we are 3 games behind Japan. T________________T

I'm not sure about their other series, but I was just mourning the lack of Layton in North America. It would be nice to see Izuna Eleven, but I've given up on that since there is no word about localization whatsoever.

It'll bomb regardless of how close its released to FFXIII anyway i reckon , look at games like Star Ocean , eternal sonata etc – western audience just aint ready i tells ya

I think the Layton series is quite successful in the west.Dragon Quest VIII also did very good although it wasn't published by Level 5.

I'm trying to finally finish the third one right now, I think I'm almost done, I'm so slow w/ these DS games… After seeing the new trailer, coinciding w/ the recent Christmas coupon from P-A, I also got suckered into pre-ordering this as well. But I dropped the young Luke plushie, alrdy spent like crazy this holiday..

What's even worse is that we still don't even have an official release date for WKC…The game is supposed to come out around february-march and i'm afraid it's gonna be crushed by FFXIII.
Level 5 really screwed their western fans with WKC.

I hope White Knight Chronicles doesnt end up like this… WKC2 is already announced and we dont even have WKC here in europe/stateside!

Im a sucker for Professor Layton, so this is always great news that they keep on doing Layton Games.
