I think this is more like a fragrance company pitches the idea to S-E, says they'll put up most of the production money for it….you just give us the use of the name and voila. Kinda like how Donald Trump works. Whereas the PSN idea takes too much of S-E's time and effort at the moment to invest

The Japan PSN has almost their entire PS1 library. It's ridiculous. Not to mention, FF VII is STILL the #2 download in the US PSN. They have no reason not to put more games up to download!

It amazes me that Squenix will do this for money, yet they basically turn down free money by not putting up their back catalog of games on PSN. And I don't mean just their PS1 stuff, most of their PSP stuff isn't available.
