In addition to those positions, Bungie is searching for a “Player Investment Design Lead” or a person who can figure out “the fine line between a reward that encourages players to have fun and an incentive that enslaves them.”
Sony is looking for a senior audio developer and a game design manager for their Santa Monica Studio. That’s the group behind God of War.
Nihilistic, the studio behind Zombie Apocalypse, has openings for a number of positions including a 3D artist, console networking programmer, sound producer, and gameplay programmer for an upcoming action-adventure console game.
Now for some jobs that don’t have to do with coding video games. Atlus is hiring a web programmer, a temporary game tester, and a bilingual (Japanese/English) language specialist, and an assistant editor.
And yes, there are jobs outside California and Washington. Budcat Creations, the studio behind Blast Works and the Wii versions of Guitar Hero, are looking for an environment artist and level designer.
