Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Sneaking Into Stores Sooner Than You Think

By Spencer . November 30, 2009 . 10:09pm

imageKonami announced Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker as a 2010 game. That could have meant December 2010 or summer 2010. No, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is arriving in Japan much sooner than that.

As revealed in this week’s issue of Famitsu, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is dated for March 18, 2010. No news about the Western release date, but Konami tends to time international releases for Metal Gear Solid games close together.

Time to dust off the psp and Portable Ops.

yeah I'm a boob I only take out the psp to replay MGS.

You're missing out on a ton of great games much better than MGS if that's the case. I'd say play the Syphon Filter games if you're into stealth titles but both were later ported to the PS2.

Are there any 2010 games that AREN'T coming in March?
  • My sentiments exactly. I'll blow through my whole gaming budget in the first three months of '10. *sigh* And I only have the handhelds and one of the newer consoles. I don't know how people with two, or all three, can possibly afford this hobby.

Same here, I have "never" pre-ordered a dozen of games from Amazon in advance... crazy Q1 2010. But wow, this is very soon for Peace Walker, I'm still wonder how strong the main story is compared to the past games because of the addition of mutliplayer.
