Shiren the Wanderer 4 Stumbles Into Stores In February

imageAt a press conference with pointy Madworld cosplay, Spike announced the release date of Shiren the Wanderer 4.


The game will be out in Japan on February 25, 2010.


Before Koichi Nakamura, Chunsoft’s founder, got to the date he demonstrated Shiren’s cyclone vision technique and received a bushel of bananas on stage. Bananas replace rice in this game.


A North American release has not been announced, but Spike, not Sega, is handling Shiren the Wanderer now. Atlus worked with Spike to release Kenka Bancho and they are publishing Shiren the Wanderer 3 so…

  • What is it between Spike and Sega?

    MadWorld (NA Sega, JP Spike), 428 (Wii Sega, PS3/PSP Spike), Shiren 3 (Wii Sega, PSP Spike) and taking over completely with Shiren 4?

    • It’s more like what’s between Spike and Chunsoft. Spike publishes all of Chunsoft’s games now. Chunsoft owns the copyrights to 428 and Shiren so they ported those.

      Madworld is probably under a different agreement since Sega owns that IP.
