Disney Fireworks Brings A Bit Of FantaVision To The Nintendo DS

By Spencer . December 2, 2009 . 4:33pm

Disney Fireworks Brings A Bit Of FantaVision To The Nintendo DSFantaVision, Sony’s firework shooting tech demo/game, was ahead of its time. It was a PlayStation 2 launch title that didn’t catch on, but paved the way for Boom Boom Rocket and Disney Fireworks for the Nintendo DS.

Disney Fireworks hasn’t been announced for the DS, but the ESRB rated it as a Nintendo DSi title with the following description.

This is a rhythm-based game in which players launch fireworks to create a colorful display. Players follow on-screen cues in time with the music to launch rockets through several Disney-themed levels: Aladdin, Peter Pan, Lilo & Stitch, Fantasia, and The Magic Kingdom.

It appears Disney Fireworks is port, an iPhone port since the game is already available on the app store. So, this is a future DSiWare release?

      Came to say this too…
The demo the NC had should have stayed up longer, it might have helped get it more recognition.

Absolutely loved Fantavision and it’s little “story”. Wasn’t there a sequel?

If this Disney Fireworks game has a Halloween level that resembles the one in Disney World, I’ll check this out. Disneyland doesn’t have a Halloween fireworks show…

So it is like a Disney version of Guitar Hero? How fun!
