Muscle March Flexes Onto WiiWare This Winter

Muscle March, Namco Bandai’s bizarre WiiWare game with bodybuilders and polar bears chasing a protein powder thief, is coming to North America. The game made its debut in Japan this past May. A localized version will be available this winter.

You control your character by making one of four muscle flexing poses with the nunchuck and remote. Don’t worry about running, your muscle man does that automatically. All you have to do is match the thief’s holes with the right pose.

The game has three stages and an endurance run for four players. In Japan, Namco Bandai sold it for 800 Wii Points ($8) so we’re expecting it to cost about the same here.

Even though I never did finish it, this game rocks. As long as it isn't more than $8.00 it is worth it.

Awesome news! I didn't think this would make it here either. I'm looking forward to it.

Wow this might actually sell me a Wii. Love these kinds of games.
  • The music is absolutely wonderful and YES it could be classified as "denpa".
  • The music IS top notch! Denpa~

Amazing. And I don't even have a Wii.

Oh my God. I remember seeing this back when it was announced and thought "There's no way North America will get this." But then again, I said the same thing about Agarest.

    Times are changing.
  • I said the exact same thing when I originally saw the Japanese trailers, Ereek. I'm so very glad we were wrong, as this game looked great then. I think a lot of people don't see/understand this games "style" properly. One viewing of the full trailer (which I believe was even covered on this site!) is enough to show someone the potential. It's going to be a damn blast.

I couldn't stop laughing as I played it. That is probably why I didn't do too well.
  • Umm...
I don't know what to say.
I guess I wouldn't like to be seen playing this game, even though it... piques my curiosity.
  • rar, hooray, something crazy! I remember the trailers it met my quota for just batshit insane enough to give it a shot!

Man I hate Bamco and their stupid localization decisions.

But then they do something like this and I want to like them again. Glorious!
