Badman 3D Has A Multiplayer Mode

By Spencer . December 3, 2009 . 10:12am

imageAcquire revealed what the third “D” in “3D” stands for in Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida 3D (Badman 3D) and it’s a two player mode called Family Dungeon.

Both players share a dungeon in Family Dungeon and the goal is still to defend your home from invading heroes. The dungeon is divided into two parts, pink and terracotta, for scoring purposes only. If you want to you can break soil and release monsters from your partner’s side, but one of the goals in Family Dungeon is to get a higher grade. It’s part cooperative, part competitive. If the God of Destruction and Musume get captured the game ends.

The mode was announced with a demo video, but Sony hasn’t said how players can connect to each other. Will this support infrastructure mode or is Badman 3D ad-hoc only?

Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikidia 3D is slated for release in Japan next March.

  • interesting, a demon girl, but i still cant see much of the “3D” here xD, more like Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikidia “3D wanna be”

    • The whole “3D” thing was a joke on us by Acquire. D stands for dungeon and the three stands for three types of dungeons: main dungeon, everyday dungeon, and family dungeon.

  • This better make it to Europe as a physical release like the first game! Anyone and everyone, import a copy from Europe and support TecmoKoei in releasing stuff like this as physical games!

    • I didn’t know Europe got this game, too. I think this is the perfect download game (for the price, too), but it’s nice there’s a UMD option now that there won’t be one for the U.S.

      • Yeah, TecmoKoei brought it over here like they’ve done with many other Nippon Ichi titles. They’re the official publisher for Nippon Ichi Europe atm actually. Anyway, I strongly support physical releases and think you all should do that too :3 Badman is well worth just about ANY asking price really.

        • Wait wait wait… There ARE physical copies of the first Badman game??? Where can I import European games? Help!

          • should have them. Zavvi might have them. Just check with most UK online retailers :) I bought it from.. uh..

          • ::sigh:: I found Badman! & an old PS2 game I’ve always wanted at, but I can’t select U.S. as my address. :(
