WiZman’s World Trailer Shows 2ch’s Mascot

By Spencer . December 8, 2009 . 6:05pm

Jaleco kept their promise and added the voted message board icon into WiZman’s World as an enemy. It’s a pretty hilarious reveal since WiZman’s World has an epic feel to it and an irreverent character as a “surprise.” Still sort of wish the whole thing was a mess of ideas, though.

Surprisingly, Jaleco isn’t developing WiZman’s World in house. Lancarse, the developer of many Taito games like Space Puzzle Bobble and The Legend of Kage 2, is behind it. Hmm… I wonder what Jaleco’s internal team is doing then.

  • Looks good. Why does this remind me of Suikoden II?

Well the game looks promising, and I’ll keep an eye in the title, but, for God’s sake they ruin the trailer in second 21 with that cheese j-pop song, I mean at first I thought “nice introduction I want to see more” but then began that horrible song, don’t get me wrong I have nothing against the j-pop in fact I like some j-pop songs, but this was really awful, if they want to put a modern song in that part it will great but not a cheese one. At least the guitar solo was fine and sometimes good.

I definitely agree. It’s like “insert generic song”. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is some link between the market for this game and that singer.

  • looks neat

wow. I wasn’t expecting much for this game, but the trailer looks beautiful and the in-game stuff looks nice as well. I hope Atlus picks this up. :3
