Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Ships With Soundtrack

Atlus Spoils strikes again! All launch copies of Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey include a bonus soundtrack CD. Like Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier and The Dark Spire, the game and CD with songs from Persona 3 composer, Shoji Meguro, will be packed in a cardboard box.

That was the good news. The bad news is Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey has been slightly bumped back from March 10 to March 23, 2010.

Good… I'm not sure how smart it would have been to release the same week as FFXIII.

    Oh, March…

I really liked The Dark Spire edition we got. I believe we got two soundtracks for free compared to what was released in Japan.

Stop tempting me to buy a DS, Atlus, please.

Thy have just told it's going to be March 23, not March 10

Free game music get a thumbs up from me. I love video game music, I listen to different video game music all the time. Guess I'm going to be preordering this one. ;)

I'm glad for the delay. Gives me time to beat FF13.

Yea for the CD. CDs are probably my favorite extra.

Too bad. I had planned to play this before FFXIII, but I guess it'll be the other way around now.

    I think they need to push it back more >>;

I agree. There are too many games coming out in February and March.

    But, eh.

You don't have a DS yet? That's your fault, not Atlus'. :P

You have no chance to survive make your time.

I think not. I'm looking forward to this game over all others, so I'd rather have it sooner.

Oh well, it's been 12 years since a new classic megaten, guess a week more won't be that annoying.
    Still annoying though…

Unfortunately, it looks like a 'sampler' OST, along the lines of SRT OG Saga. Still good, of course. Maybe the OST isn't that big?

  • Joanna_T

of course, all the CDs I have gotten with Atlus Spoils have been more along the lines of samples rather then real OTS. Still having even 5-8 tracks from any game that has wonderful music is a really nice bonus.

  • Ujn Hunter

Man do I love Atlus. :)

  • cj_iwakura

Not quite; Nocturne, DDS, P3, and P4 had pretty substantial OSTs. Not the whole thing, but a lot of tracks(20-30). This looks like it only has 8 or 9.

  • Joanna_T

Never said all of them, just the ones I got through preorders, which are all DS games. :/
