Sony Computer Entertainment America has plans for a domestic release of The Eye of Judgment Legends (aka The Eye of Judgment: Portable in Japan), but unlike other territories it will only be a downloadable game here.
The Eye of Judgment Legends is a scaled down version of the PlayStation 3 game minus tangible cards and PlayStation Eye support. Everything is digital, including booster packs Sony plans to sell on the PlayStation Store. The PSP version has infrastructure play, all of the cards from the PlayStation 3 game plus thirty brand new ones, and a story mode.
Similar to other niche first party games including Siren: Blood Curse and Echochrome, Sony plans to sell The Eye of Judgment Legends in stores in Europe and Japan. Here, it’s PlayStation Network or nothing.
