pQube Picks Up Arc System Works Catalog For Europe

By Spencer . December 30, 2009 . 10:08am

image European gamers are about to get a burst of Arc System Works games in 2010. New  PAL publisher pQube will release Castle of Shikigami III, Jake Hunter, and Theresia in Europe.

Before the pQube and Zen Media partnership, 505 Games used to handle Arc System Works stuff like Guilty Gear Accent Core and the occasional JRPG. In addition to working with Arc System Works, pQube has a deal with Ertain. That Japanese publisher used to make the Gladiator games, but now focus on the “relaxing genre” with stuff like Paint Classic Masterpieces.

Here’s what pQube has planned for Europe.

Arc System Works
BlazBlue (PS3 / Xbox 360)
Gulty Gear Accent Core Plus (PS2, PSP, Wii)
Castle of Shikigami III (Wii)
Theresia (DS)
Jake Hunter: Memories of the Past (DS)

Ertain
Air Traffic Controller (DS)
Colpile (DS)
Deep Sea Aquarium (DS)
Paint Classic Masterpieces (DS)

Wow, this is good news for Europe. Now if someone could pick up the flak of the other companies that seem to neglect Europe. I know they want some Demon’s Souls over there as well.

Argh, why does it seem like (more and more) that I should just cave and buy a PAL Wii?!

I guess I’ll be buying SnS3. I wonder if it’s going to be budget priced like the american release?
