Tenchu: Kurenai Portable, a PSP port of Tenchu: Fatal Shadows, has new costumes for Ayane and Rin. Before we get to those see what could have been in the game. From Software released illustrations for nifty unused costumes like gothic Rin and Gundam Rin.

Instead of those, you’re getting these outfits. The Ayane costume is reused art from Tenchu: Shadow Assassins.

Tenchu: Kurenai Portable is dated for January 28 in Japan. No North American release has been announced at this time.

  • The final ones don’t really look all that unique, honestly. Not that I think Gundam Rin looks any better — it’s kind of ridiculous, actually — but the goth outfit doesn’t look bad. Something like a more traditional fully-covered shinobi outfit would’ve been nice, too. Man, where’s their sense of design?

That Gundam Rin costume looks hella badass.

  • Tofuuu

Looks more like Protoman or even Casshern than a Gundam to me =P The robot doll definitely looks very ninja though hahaha

dude, i would sh*t in my pants if that thing comes to assassinate me… “All samurais… beware of the puppet ninja!! If you be a victim of the puppet ninja, the last thing you hear before being enveloped in darkness will be a series of CLICKETY-CLACK… CLICKETY-CLACK!!!!” <> not very scary but YOU GET MY DRIFT!!! i seriously hate puppets or dolls of any sorts X3 Fatal Frame gave me that phobia!!!!

    • Wow, I wasn’t thinking of it that way…
