imageIf you missed the Nintendo DS and mobile phone versions of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney you can get it for Wii next Monday.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney on WiiWare is just like the DS version with the addition of presenting evidence by pointing the remote. The 1,000 point ($10) download has four cases, starting with the episode where Phoenix defends his childhood friend Larry Butz. Rise from the Ashes, the fifth case made specially for the Nintendo DS, will be sold separately as a 100 point ($1) download in May.

  • Why are they selling the extra episode separately? A WiiWare space limit?

    • Perhaps. The fifth case probably needs more programming work too since Capcom has to adapt the touch screen object rotating and features made especially for it.

  • yess new drawings!

I don’t think there’s any new drawings in-game, just several pieces for the ads.. the games were excellent, listening to the music on the TV would be pretty cool. But I want a Gyakuten Saiban 5 for the Wii w/ voice acting.

Japanese AND English versions next week?

    • It’s already out in Japan. A demo is out now too.

Cool, just d/l’ed the demo and fired it up. Unfortunately this is NOT going to look good on the component cable hook-up :(.. Eng text probably wouldn’t look as jaggy as Jpn text when blown up. Listening to the music thru TV speakers is nice though.

EDIT: It’s surprisingly fun to play on the big screen, how I wish the characters would be voiced, at least partially :(..
