Capcom sent over a batch of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom screenshots with Yatterman-2 equipped with her shock baton.

Yes, you read that right. Yatterman-2 is actually female and her real name is Ai. Yatterman-2 also has a robot in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars. She controls the Yatter-Pelican, which is exactly what it sounds like — a giant robot pelican.

After importing the Japanese version on release, I’m still going to double dip. It’s an awesome game, unfortunately a bit obscure in Europe.

    That’s what I keep hearing, too. I’ve just never met anyone who actually knows about Tatsunoko. Maybe it’s just me living in a Tatsunoko-free zone.

So Yatterman-2 uses Yatter Pelican? I’m guessing Yatterman-1 will have Yatter Dog, or whatever it’s called, for both colors now. Yay, no more gameplay difference between colors!

Even though I swore I wouldn’t double dip unless Capcom added Gene… I already pre-ordered the U.S. version… -_-;
