The Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Shoot ‘em Up

By Spencer . January 12, 2010 . 9:39am

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Shooters, one of the new mini-games in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars, puts Ryu and Yatterman in a vertical shooter.

Players can choose Tatsunoko vs. Capcom characters, complete with hadokens and other special moves, for a run and gun style shmup. Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Shooters has a four player co-op mode, branching stages, and looks way better than the now cut Hakusho Daimao math mini-game from Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes.

That looks fun as hell for some reason!

    • I believe so, since the two games are supposed to be the same. Ultimate All-Stars was designed primarily for the West, after all.

  • Really loving the “video” effect!

I’m confused: this was in the original import game–have they made changes/upgrades to it?

    • Ah you mean the Lost Planet shooter mini-game in Cross Generation of Heroes? Wasn’t that only for PTX-40A?

  • Chow

That’s cool. At least they aren’t locked into vertical shooting.

I just want to play as Tekkenman Blade 2.. btw, this has the same deal as FFXIII too on Amazon, getting $10 credit to buy new game once your order ships.

    • Ah thanks! I should keep track of those things more. Maybe we’ll post a list or something since the promotion is so wide spread.
