So excited for their American tour. I hope they come close to Florida!

Am I the only one who is bothered by the fact that Uematsu goes on these concert tours for Square/Final Fantasy, yet for some reason, he is unable to score the soundtrack to the games? While Final Fantasy 13's music was acceptable (some of it was great, some of it was just plain awful, and on the whole it was quite repetitive), I can't help but think what Uematsu would have done instead. It's like he kicked Square to the curb and joined Mistwalker, but then returns with his tail in-between his legs any time Square offers him a chance to make money off of his past work.

Does anyone else feel this way? I'd rather he be making his own original music nowadays rather than doing this kind of thing, because it's like spitting in the face of Final Fantasy.

(On a side note, I heard he is composing the music for FF14. Is this true? Is it ALL of the music, or just the main theme?)
