See Resonance of Fate’s Console Specific Bonus Outfits

Zephyr, Vasheron, and Leanne are stylish heroes. In Resonance of Fate they have selectable outfits, some designed by Japanese fashion labels. Leanne (aka Reanbell) also gets a console exclusive t-shirt.

The PlayStation 3 version includes a Toro t-shirt.

Leanne’s Xbox 360 outfit is based on what Microsoft’s booth babes wore at Tokyo Game Show ‘09.

Interesting collaboration with the two console makers, but a single shirt probably won’t sway anyone’s purchasing decision.

This game looks really pretty. But is it any good?

Maybe because I couldn’t understand JP, but the demo I played was kind of cool… I think… but it was confusing. It seems like once you get the hang of things, it’ll be pretty interesting, but I wasn’t blown away or anything.

Which is sad, because I really want tri-Ace to make a great game again.

Yeah, it’s kind of sad, as of late Tri-Ace has been make at most good games but not great games.. I did read the tutorial but still felt the gameplay was a little confusing, the gunning and running, while unique in an RPG, was a little overdone.. Well, the demo didn’t exactly wow me either (it didn’t make me want to BUY it like Bayonetta did), but I’m keeping my pre-order for the PS3 ver.. but now I prefer the 360 shirt..

I wasn’t blown away either. The battles were kind of fun, but I wanted to see how walking around in the town feels as well.

I really enjoyed the Demo, and for what it’s worth, famitsu gave it a 34/40.

the demo is really good, don’t worry about the game being “pretty” that was told about FF XIII and the game is not so good, only beautiful cut-scenes and movies but that doesn’t make a good RPG.

      • Aoshi00

What worried me again though is will it have a good story? Just two guys and a gal venturing the tower.. the environment in the demo didn’t seem all that interesting either. My initial impression was Guns + RPG = FTW, now I’m not so sure. I’m still going to get this day 1, but I tried to keep my expectation low, been let down too many times..

Given all the other cross-promotion they’ve done, I’m surprised the PS3 version didn’t get a Valkyria Chronicles t-shirt/uniform. Would have been sweet.

  • Chow

If it’s not a pre-order bonus, I couldn’t care less. My OCD, however, requires me to get the game as a pre-order if it is. (-__-+)

If Bamco was publishing this game, they’d make the shirts DLC so PS3 owners could get the 360 shirt, and vice-versa….They’d charge $5, wouldn’t they?

    • Hraesvelgr

Also, there would be 50 new outfits for each character in the coming months, sold separately for $3 each.

X360 outfit looks better. Not as bland IMO.
