BlazBlue: Battle x Battle Debuts This Week

By Spencer . January 25, 2010 . 10:33am

imageArc System Works set January 27 as the date for their DSiWare BlazBlue game, BlazBlue: Battle x Battle.

BlazBlue’s Nintendo DSi debut takes super deformed characters and throws them in a four player battle royale. Single mode has five stages where you fight the computer. Free mode lets players set custom rules. Levels have items to pick up and things like levers to pull. BlazBlue: Battle x Battle also has a local wireless mode for four players, but there isn’t full blown online play over Nintendo Wi-Fi.

Own a Japan region Nintendo DSi? Then you can get BlazBlue: Battle x Battle for 500 DSiWare points ($5). Aksys has not announced this title, but we’re counting on a domestic release since, well, it’s a BlazBlue game.

Aksys will probably have this up eventually (they just released Jazzy Billiards and Animal Puzzle Adventure, which I *really* hope leads to them localizing the PSP game it was based on) but I’m itching to try it out since I have the chance.
    And, as Code said, Taos.
