momo09Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier Exceed has a healthy dose of Xenosaga fanservice with M.O.M.O. acting as a support character for KOS-MOS.

She jumps into battle with ether arrows and can transform for a star wand attack. Namco Bandai released these stills from M.O.M.O.’s attack sequence.

Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier Exceed is slated for February 25 in Japan. It’s probably some years away, but I wonder who Monolith Soft will dig out of their archives for Endless Frontier Super Exceed. Shion? Kalas?

  • A part of me wishes it was Momo from Breath of Fire III. I miss the big bunny lady with the rocket launcher XD

    • Ereek

Oh, much agreed. She is a far better Momo than Xenosaga’s MOMO!

    Again teasing with Xenosaga cameo..

KALAS. This is why I come to this site. You’re a real fan of gaming, Spencer. Mad respect.

  • No boobies and no belly dancing either? Clearly the SRT devs were having an off day!

A part of me hopes that Namco forgets Xenosaga ever existed. I’m sorry but it truly pains me to see the characters whored out in such a manner when the series they originated in was left to crash and burn. I loved Xenosaga and was truly stunned when Nintendo announced it had purchased Monolith Soft. The though of never getting another Xenosaga game regardless of what might happen in the future (i.e. Namco allowing another to be made) was quite a blunt wake-up call. So, it annoys me that we have the cast members appearing in games like this, because that is all we will ever get. It’s like being teased.
