By Spencer . January 29, 2010 . 1:47pm

icecream007Majesco shared a ton of media for Data East Arcade Collection, which is exactly what it sounds like.

This Wii compilation is a bundle of Data East games with a rarities like Peter Pepper’s Ice Cream Factory, a sequel to BurgerTime I never had the chance to play.

All fifteen games in the collection can be played with a Wii remote/nunchuck, Classic Controller or Gamecube. The games on the disc are…

Bad Dudes vs. Dragon Ninja
BurgerTime
Burnin’ Rubber
Caveman Ninja (Joe & Mac)
Crude Buster
Express Raider
Heavy Barrel
Lock ‘n’ Chase
Magical Drop III
Peter Pepper’s Ice Cream Factory
Secret Agent
Side Pocket
Street Hoops
Super Real Darwin
Wizard File

Caveman Ninja and Magical Drop III for $19.99? Not a bad deal. Look for Data East Arcade Collection in stores on February 9.

rar, Joe & Mac! Good memories of playing it when I was a kid!

M2′s doing the collection, so it should be good!

Close, it’s by G1M2, who’ve done other compilations such as SNK Arcade
      Classics 0.

M2 is similar though, they do the Sega platform’s VC games and the Konami Rebirth series.

Ugh, no, really? They did a TON of SNK PS2 ports (NGBC, KOFXI, etc) and collections (Fatal Fury, World Heroes, etc). Not as bad as Terminal Reality or Digital Eclipse, but not as good as M2. :/

Ah, I was really hoping Night Slashers would make the cut, but it looks like it wasn’t even picked up.
That’s too bad. I really wanted to punch some zombie brains (and play the unedited version Japan had).

Will it be the “naughty” version of Side Pocket?

I doubt it, but I’ve got fond memories of pixelated naked girls in the arcade when I was young.

I have never played the other ones but I have played Joe and Mac for the genesis and enjoyed it. This collections worth the price.
