See The New Stuff In Knights in the Nightmare

Sting is porting Knights in the Nightmare to the PSP and this version has a few extras. Aside from widescreen graphics, Knights in the Nightmare on PSP has a talk collection which records conversations you have with the fallen knights during battles. The talk collection feature is a great idea.

Sting also made new tutorial missions to teach beginners the ropes.

And Knights in the Nightmare on PSP has a new animated opening.

While Atlus released this batch of screenshots, we’re still not sure how Sting is going to revise the game’s control from drag and drop to analog stick and button presses. Knights in the Nightmare hits PSPs in Japan on April 22.

Looks slick. Not sure if I’ll double dip, though. I want to see some game play videos.

Well the tutorial is a nice and helpful addition and I always thought a chat-library was missing. And I’m always a fan of anime OP’s. Still sceptical about the controls, how they’ll translate those.

Every time I see a copy of this game for the DS, I want to buy but still haven’t.
Keep hearing great things about it.
Maybe with a PSP release the price for the DS game will drop?

where? i still haven’t found this game. it seems to be out of print and it’s not even a year old yet. eff atlus!

      • Soma

I still see it at EB Games every now and then. Typically used copies. Last place I saw it new was Microplay, but they wanted $40 for it.

Pretty sure some Amazon merchants still have the title in stock. Though I can confirm that the title is out of print, Atlus never did a second run as the initial print game with an Artbook and the games OST. You can’t expect them to do that forever.

        • csmzs

i don’t care about the stupid artbook or the game ost, i just want a brand new copy of the game.

My local Fry’s had about fifteen copies for $20ish each. They didn’t come with the soundtrack though.

Why do Sting love porting their games so much?

    • Yuan

Well, 2 0f the Dept. Heaven Game they ported to PSP sold good.

  • malek86

Want. But I’m pretty sure it will be localized, so I’ll wait.

I cant imagine how this game is going to work on PSP and even if they manage it I doubt it’ll be anywhere near as good as the DS version. Widescreen graphics really dont matter in this game neither do more tutorials. I mean the damn original had enough.

The animated opening and conversation library are not even close to good enough reasons to buy again. If Atlus can spoil with something they didnt spoil is with before MAYBE…

    • Dark_Sage

I take it you don’t own a PSP.

I do. I guess I sound way more upset than I should be. Its just these are minimal additions that hell should have been on the DS version. I dont get Ports or Remakes unless they actually have more value to them. P3 FES made sense P3P does not.
