Sony has been holding Idolm@ster concerts in PlayStation Home. After a show fans got together to take pictures…
… group pictures where everyone dons a Haruka Amami mask.
I’m gonna have nightmares tonight.
What the hell…?! This is like a scene out of 20th Century Boys!
The downside to any MMORPG that has a set amount of character builds or when the users can customize their characters with the exact same items :)
Sooner or later everyone will wear the same freaking items and look the same!!
But nice way of screwing with people :)
Creepy, but more interesting than the US Home at least. Yea, there were a lot of Lightnings and Snows running around too. Maybe we’d be seeing a lot of Big Daddies from Bioshock 2 soon. Not that I really use Home anyway…
I haven´t been on Home once :p I don´t see the need for it. If I want to talk with friends I do so over MSN or trough mIRC. Not trough my PS3…
But that would be something, everyone running around as Big Daddy :)
I only fooled around w/ Home during Beta and thought it was a total waste of time. I logged on occasionally to check out some new stuffs, like the Batcave that came w/ Arkham Ashylum, the RE5 hub, or the FFXIII apartment. On the Jpn Home, there’s Disgaea and IM@S now. Some places are kind of interesting but for the most part it’s not worth the time. Also I just prefer the Miis and 360 Avatars, at least they’re cute, the Home avatars look weird to me..
I don’t get why they don’t just make a game IN Home. If you want to push it, you’ll need to have better uses for those avatars and random pieces of furniture that people buy. I can’t recall off the top of my head, but do they have any high-profile games where the “Homeys” are integrated like Miis?
There is that one part of Home where you walk in this haunted house based on the Siren games. I would love to try that, but something more elaborate.
I got a weird Silent Hill feeling from those pictures >s<.
Wish I was there.
Someone has been uploading footage of the concert on Youtube. It seems they go through the same four or five songs, maybe switch a character in once in a while, but it looks like fun.
I noticed they’ve been promoting this in conjunction with the PSP games; the three characters appearing in these are from different editions.
I’ve never used home either, and I don’t think I’m going to start now @_@;
Unless everyone wants to play hide and seek with me in it xD
Welcome to the future of anime/game concerts.
