BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Heads To Consoles With An Extra CharacterThe Famitsu cover leak didn’t mislead us. BlazBlue: Continuum Shift is coming to consoles soon.

 

This summer to be specific and the home version has a new face. Meet μ-12. She’s in the game along with Tsubaki, Hazama, and λ-11 which made their debut in arcades. BlazBlue: Continuum Shift also includes legion mode from BlazBlue Portable and beginner mode for new players.

 

While this news is only for Japan, we’re confident that Aksys will publish BlazBlue: Continuum Shift in North America.

    Hmmm..I wonder how soon is, “soon”. If it's this Summer, that would be great! I can't wait to play as Hazama :3

    Also, wtf is Legion Mode? I clicked on the BlazBlue Portable link, but couldn't find anything about it >_<

    It's a kind of tactical board-game appearantly, where fighters strategically move around, fight and complete missions. That's how I've come to understand it anyway. Played Soulcalibur 3? Think Soulcalibur 3's Chronicles of the Sword-mode, I think that's pretty close.

    I haven't refreshed myself with the BlazBlue story recently, so I can't remember for sure. But based on the μ-12 name and her looks, is that who I think it is in the picture?
    Just looking for a yes or no. Anybody who's completed the story mode should have an idea what I'm trying to ask without spoiling it for people who haven't gotten that far.

    WOOOT new character!!!!! i just hope she plays completley diff than lamda and v-13. having 2 of the same chars in a game wud be dumb lol.

    im hoping she stays looking just like she does here and is a close range fighter, i wud be so happy :D

    Legion mode is a tactics-style mode where you have to move BlazBlue characters on a board to capture nodes. You still fight in 2D, but there's a board game element to it.

    Pretty much, yeah. She's the most complete, perfect Murakumo Unit out of all the others. Makes sense that she'd be playable.

    That character u-12 looks like she just stepped off a run on My Otome: Sifr. M-9 has that kind of look.

    Another number character? I wonder how they will have made her in regards to Nu-13 and Lamda 11…

    But it all just brings me closer to getting more interested in this game than I was before. But I need to find some better internet to be able to play online I think. Or Aksys needs to start delivering the great netcode they used from the start.
