In Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier Exceed Old Enemies Are Your Best Friends

By Spencer . February 10, 2010 . 11:17am

KOS-MOS and T-elos team up in Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier Exceed. Seriously. If that wasn’t strange enough Reiji and Xiaomu, the guest characters from Namco X Capcom, partner with Saya, that game’s main villain. Both guest characters previously appeared in Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier as antagonists.

Oh and the original enemies made for Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier play a notably different role in Exceed too. Take a look at all of the crossovers and see some crazy combos in this special battle movie.

  • LOL Xiaomu is an [email protected] xD but that triple Finished loooked awesome, hope Atlus will localize it again~

I would just like some confirmation of localisation! Please! :D

  • kylehyde

I hope Atlus localize this sequel.

  • Jaxx-Leviathan

Must say I am quite impressed and slightly in love with the character designs, would almost consider getting into this game just for that.

Great looking sprites.Music is pretty catchy too.IT must be brought to the masses. Far and wide.

    • Xien12

      SRW always has catchy moosic.

I think they’ve recycled some of the bgm from SWR:OG already. I’m pretty sure one of those tunes has already been drilled into my head well enough.

Speaking of which, I need to actually beat SWR:OG. After a while I got depressed at how just touching the ground would let the opponent block, leading to a lot more grief than needed.

  • Hoping they fix the problems with the first game:

    -Cancelling/blocking being incredibly annoying
-unlimited item usage making battles trivial (you can buy com restoring items or ones that don’t consume it)
-lots of really long boss battles with the same few characters.

tell me bout it lol, fighting thhe same enemies over and over again for bosses was annoying like F!

i was able to pull off ridiculous combos going over 400 but rareley because of the random block thing. i luved the game till 3 hours in, then it got to repetitive, by then tho it was to late cuz i only had 5 hours to go but it just drug on so badly lol

looks like they added and used alot from the old game. not lookin forward to using the old enemies as partners, i think its a lazy way of adding new characters, i wud rather rjust have all new characters but o well i c that there are some

yeah i like what you said it gets repetitive but i’m still looking forward to it. If they do localize it translate the pre-battle quotes by text or have voice-over for the parts. There’s to many good one’s to miss out on

This looks very awesome, thinking of picking up the first one. By the way, did Atlus cut/changed anything from the first one?
