Cave Making Another Xbox 360 Game (This One Isn’t An Arcade Port)Makoto Asada, producer of the Xbox 360 versions of Deathsmiles and Mushihime-sama Futari Ver. 1.5, is putting the finishing touches on Espgaluda II which comes out in Japan on February 25 plus working on a new game for the Xbox 360. Most of Cave’s console titles are arcade ports. This one isn’t.

“We are also currently working on a brand-new game for 360 which we haven’t released much information about yet,” Asada revealed to Siliconera. “This is not an arcade port, but it is being designed with worldwide release in mind.”

Worldwide release? Yep. One of Cave’s goals is to expand outside of Japan and build a fanbase overseas. You’ll hear more about that and details on Deathsmiles’ design from Cave tomorrow.

Well, I sure hope “worldwide” means Europe too.

They already have a fanbase overseas so it shouldn't be too difficult building it.

    Wow, CAVE really love XTS

What immediately came to mind was a bullet hell first or third person shooter. That'd be crazy….

    Cave: “What's a Europe?”

Be easy on them, they've only just figured out what a US is.

My bet? A XBLA puzzle game.

Steep Slope Sliders 2: Xtreme Air.

I hope they don't just release a region-free game, rather they get a US distributor. Paying $70+ for a shooter isn't my cup of tea, but I would really like to play their games. If they released at $50 that would still be too much, but a lot easier to swallow then $70+shipping.
