Famitsu confirmed a batch of Street Fighter III challengers are coming to Super Street Fighter IV.

 

Scans from this week’s issue show Dudley, Ibuki, and Makoto in the game. Looks like some old moves are being carried over. After a quick glance, Ibuki has her Yoroi Doushi as an ultra combo and Kasumi Suzaku as a super combo. Dudley’s Rolling Thunder and Rolling Uppercut are in the game too as ultra and super combos, respectively.

 

With all of the additions thus far, Juri is the only brand new character in the Super Street Fighter IV roster. The game comes out here on April 27.

    Hakan will probally be announced mid March. They need to keep at least a little bit more info to leak leading to the release.

    Is he the last character to be announced? I was really hoping Haggar would have slipped in at the last moment, but at we can get Balrog vs. Dudley matches going!

    Geesh, is Pop-eye a hidden character in this game? They all have his physical, giant legs and arms (some at least).

    That one shot of Mokoto jutting out her chest seems to indicate that Capcom wants to make sure that no one ever thinks that Makoto is a guy ever again.

    Well i'm glad that they finally revealed them as we already knew who all the characters were anyway. I'm just glad we can see pics of them. My girl makoto gonna beast in this one to i hope and i'm going to play with ibuki and dudley too.

    Awesome I love Ibuki! Its nice to see the SF3 characters making a return, especially with the series vetrans still in the roster. You know if I was not completely geeking out over the added characters my mind would ponder the question “Why didn't Capcom just make SSF4 in the first place?”

    of course I would then have to realize the answer is, “because they get more money this way, silly”.

    I can only hope Makoto is higher on the tier list than Sakura. Quit beating my androgynous women with the nerf bat, Capcom >:(

    I know that since I used her a lot in 3rd Strike. I'm just saying that in 3rd Strike the only way to actually indicate that she was a girl was her dizzy pose… Other than that it was hard for people to tell when they first saw her. Super IV seems to show that Capcom will probably try to make sure that there won't be any more questions about her gender by using proper angles and a less ambiguous model.

    I think part of it has to do with time. You really think they could have pushed everything in Super out in the original release, especially with the cloud of uncertainty that Capcom had over a new SF? Extra funding helps. Also, SFIV paves the way for balancing changes.
