Rising Star Games partnered with Bag of Bees to make limited edition Half-Minute Hero shirts. The designers focused on the me You > Evil term, which lets you know you’re ready to beat the boss in Hero 30.

"With a ‘break-the-mould’ title like Half-Minute Hero, we are really pleased to have an innovative team of designers on board to help celebrate its brilliance," says Martin Defries, managing director, Rising Star Games. "Half-Minute Hero is the type of game that will have a real hardcore following of gamers, so we wanted to offer something for fans who want to celebrate the game in style."

Interesting to see Rising Star Games making t-shirts now. No More Heroes and Muramasa: The Demon Blade, two other games from Marvelous Entertainment, could have been used for stylish outerwear too. Each Half-Minute Hero tee costs £18 ($28) and Bag of Bees has international shipping options if you feel like importing.

The red one is cute. I’d use it as a nightgown.

  • HAHAHA I was wondering if I should buy magna carta 2 for £20 but when I saw this, I thought F**K it and decided to buy the red t-shirt.

20€ for a tee is a bit high. Still, maybe I would get it, if I had the money.

I’d love to buy some No More Heroes shirts. I’m a little disappointed that the shirts in NMH2 weren’t as interesting.

    • Is that so? The shirts in the first game actually perked my interest in having some style sense, even just a little.
      That’s a bad thing, isn’t it? :P

      • Nekobo

If by bad you mean bad ass, I’d say yeah. :)

  • I like the red…but that’s a little too pricey for me…

  • The design reminds me of the ones Splitreason had for the FFI characters, at least with the red mage. It’s very nice! There’s something about 8-bit on red that I like.

On a side note, Meat Bun is back. Someone at Tiny Cartridge mentioned them and they had some really interesting designs centered around video game that were *very* subtle. One was Silent Hill and one even had Servbots. Too bad they’re sold out, and it doesn’t look like they’re bringing them back. Darn…
Although, Spencer, your idea of the Persona 3 uniform-on-shirt idea was pretty nifty!
