Namco Bandai Games America confirmed Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 for North America. Just like all other regions, we’ll get CyberConnect2’s second HD game this fall.

The announcement also came with a bit of news. Cinematic battles, which were some of the best moments in Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, are confirmed for the sequel. Over 40 selectable characters are joining the fight Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2. This number includes a gang of Akatsuki and Sasuke who is dressed in Akatsuki gear. This, according to Namco Bandai, is a “shocking story twist.”

  • anbu

YEAH! Naruto manga rocks!!! Especially this week, it will be a good fighto~
Naruto till the end. Give me some madara and pain and danzo please bandaiooooo.

    • MisterNiwa

I hope Sasuke tries to kill Naruto and then Sakura jumps in and gets killed and then Naruto kills Sasuke in Hyper Kyuubi Sage Mode.

I want Sasuke and Sakura dead.

  • ryne11

The manga is the only thing keeping my interest.

  • More that you can imagine, actually these fighting games are great, being naruto fan or not, is a beautifull and new way of battle games

    • MisterNiwa

The Manga is so horrible, but when it comes to the Games, im always in.

Just like Bleach, i love that Manga just for their Games. :I

  • The main reason I am getting this is because of its graphics.

  • Wake

This may look good but it’s a step down compared with the PS2 ones. All the depth from those games seems to have vanished when it went 3D. Also why don’t they fix the help/assist. It’s just too cheap, at least give an option of switching it off.

    • Dark_Sage

Have you tried just not using the assists? It’s as simple as not using the assists.

      • Wake

Yes. All the time. But having an option to turn it on/off would have been nice. If this game ever gets an online vs. mode it would be a hassle to find people who would play it that way.

  • 311

My only thing is… are we gonna get online vs/co-op?! or something

  • Dark_Sage

Ultimate Ninja Storm was fantastic, bro. Play the demo.

  • Cloud_ST

My Favorite is still NA2 for the PS2,but I have high hopes for this one though.

  • malek86

I’ll admit the quality has gone downhill a lot. I’ve been re-reading earlier volumes of the Chuunin Exam arc lately… and I didn’t remember the story being so totally awesome, because it has sucked for the last two years or so.

However, I’m still interested in seeing how the manga ends, so yeah, guess I’ll keep sticking around. Hoping that it won’t take too much.

  • thebanditking

Hopefully this will improve Namco’s track reccord. Though I doubt this game will do enough to wipe my mind of the failures that are Tekken 6 and SoulCalibur 4.

    • raymk

hey they weren’t failures if the game sold well enough and to its credit soul calibur 4 was still an alright game. Many people these days just don’t like the 3d fighters.

    • tekken 6 a failure…..i dont wanna jump the gun but it sounds like you might be the kind of person that enjoys SF4 and thinks that its a good game

    • MisterNiwa

Soul Calibur 4 pwns major ass. 8(

  • protofox

shocking story twist? no namco. thats called you’re releasing the game way before the anime/manga in the other countries have caught up. yay for online manga sites.
