Delicious Mega Man Sakuma Drops

By Spencer . February 25, 2010 . 11:32pm

imageFollowing in the footsteps of the Mega Man E-tank energy drink, Capcom created another Mega Man snack to promote Mega Man 10.

The item on the right is a pack of Rockman Sakuma Drops, a Mega Man take on traditional Japanese hard candy. There are eight flavors: strawberry, apple, lemon, pineapple, orange, plum, melon, and peppermint. Each one represents a different weapon Mega Man can equip, but we’re not sure how the flavors match up with the robot masters. Is Blade Man plum or apple?

Mega Man Sakuma Drops go on sale on March 6. A tin costs 350 yen ($4).

Now that I have a psp, I always wondered why this game isn’t available on it. It’s not like it has next gen graphics or something. Maybe I am missing something…

Simple, Capcom hates the PSP (and Sony, but mostly the PSP).

That is why they will put a monster hunter game on every platform (escept PS3) before making another PSP version.

I hope that post was sarcastic, lol >ww<' It's not like DS has Mega Man 10 either, or even one Monster Hunter game, maybe they hate little dual screen portable too T_T'

Maybe it’s just me, but I think NIS should come out with Gummi Prinnies.

    • Ignition came out with WORMS or something crazy like that when they were promoting Lux-pain. I’m not sure if it was real or something like fried, dried noodles shaped like worms, but it was the nastiest thing I’ve ever saw.

      • *grabs revolver*

Someone said Lux-Pain. Who was it?!

        • It was the Servbot! He went that way!

            Uh oh.

Nice, wonder if you would find this in some Asian supermarket.. One time I caught sight of some Sakuma drops for “Grace of the Fireflies”, I should’ve grabbed it when I had the chance, that was so symbolic for the Ghibli movie, I would probably cry when I eat them and watch the movie.

    • Code

Maann that movie literally tried to snap my heart in half, in EVERY damn scene T_T’

Those sound tasty and 4 is pretty cheap for game-related food/candy. (I’ve seen those mushroom candy things going for around 6 :/)

  • Dood! Is there anywhere to pre-order a case of these bad boys? :)
