Contrast to their lineup of quirky Japanese games such as Boing! Docomodake, Ignition has a first person shooter in development called Blacklight: Tango Down.
Zombie Studio’s game is powered by Unreal Engine 3 and is in development for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, more specifically PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.
“Blacklight: Tango Down is set to change the way gamers view the possibilities of downloadable content because it will offer shooter fans the top quality, deep content and exciting experience that they are used to finding in a retail product but in a downloadable package,” Ajay Chada, President of Worldwide Studios, Ignition Entertainment, proclaimed.
Ignition’s near-future shooter has deathmatch modes and says the game’s experience point system sets Blacklight: Tango Down apart from the competition. Players can upgrade their character’s skills and their weapons. You can use points to unlock add-ons such as sniper scopes for weapon customization or boost your character’s accuracy. Blacklight: Tango Down is scheduled for release this summer.
