Sing A Duet In Hatsune Miku: Project Diva 2nd

By Spencer . March 2, 2010 . 7:44pm

imageThis week’s issue of Famitsu has a bit on Hatsune Miku: Project Diva 2nd (temporary name), which Sega plans to release in Japan on July 29.

New features in Hatsune Miku: Project Diva 2nd include more costumes like Little Red Riding Hatsune Miku and duets. “Magnet” and “Romeo and Cinderella” are two of them. Other Vocaloids such as Rin and Len Kagamine are in the sequel too.

Doesn’t seem like Sega made any major changes to the Hatsune Miku: Project Diva formula. But, that’s probably fine with fans. The first game, after all, was stellar.

Am I the only one who finds Miku Hatsune incredibly creepy? Something about her dead, synthetic voice just rubs me the wrong way.

100% getting this. Project Diva was tons of fun! Even if it’s going to be quite expensive…

I hope it comes with a cool nendoroid too!

you know it’s an arcade game right?

      • Yuan

No. The Arcade one is Project Diva Arcade, an enhanced port of the first game on PSP.
This is the sequel for PSP.
Not only they add ‘Duet’ Feature. Now the button isn’t limited only to four face buttons, but also use directional button and holding button XD
The motion is increased and the Edit mode will be upgraded.
4 of the new modules can be spotted on the scan.
The same price as the first one.

Yay, more Project Diva (been waiting for the release date). I will totally be getting this when it comes out. I just hope that SEGA doesn’t ramp up the difficulty too much in the sequel. I think the first one had the right balance of fun and difficulty.

I’m still waiting for the DLC of the first Project Diva to be released.

    • Yuan

      This just the first report.
More details should come after the event on March 9th.
      Details for the DLC too.

    fanservice solds well
and this game have a lot

  • tsukasa1288

I randomly pulled out the first game on the train today. Didn’t actually get to play though because it was so crowded so I just did PV mode. The first one was so pretty for a PSP game, hope the second one is even better.

  • MarkMario

Hoping for the new vocaloid Miki to be in it.
