No DLC For Absolute Hero Modding Project

image A dungeon RPG where you can customize your hero with tank hands, Prinny hats, and Dengeki Bunko light novel characters seems like a perfect fit for downloadable content. Nippon Ichi also has a habit of adding cameo characters via paid downloads.

However, Zettai Hero Kaizou Keikaku (Absolute Hero Modding Project) won’t have any DLC. Sohei Shinkawa, President of Nippon Ichi, answered fan questions at an event. Someone in the audience asked about downloadable content. “At this time, there are no plans,” Shinkawa replied. The team has been cramming content into Absolute Hero Modding Project up until the last moment, which you can experience this week since the game makes its debut on Thursday.

Well, that’s pretty cool. I have no problem with DLC per se, but it’s nice not to have it for every game. Way to go, NIS!

Considering how poorly NIS (NISA at least) has handled the DLC, it’s probably a good thing.

  • I’m very happy with this actually. Just another great reason to buy this game.
