This week’s issue of Famitsu blew the lid off Blaze Union: Story to Reach the Future which is coming to PSP on May 27. That’s one month after the PSP port of Knights in the Nightmare.
While “union” is in the title, Blaze Union is not a sequel to Yggdra Union. It’s a successor or spiritual follow up set in the same world, but many years before Yggdra was born. Sting appears to have kept the same battle system that made Yggdra Union so addictive and threw in a bunch of new characters.
Atlus will publish Blaze Union in Japan. The game hasn’t been announced for North America, but Atlus is publishing it and Sting developed games such as Hexyz Force tend to be picked up by Atlus.
