Namco Bandai is rolling out Fullmetal Alchemist: To the Promised Day media slowly… very slowly. Three weeks after they announced the game we have a sixteen second commercial, which doubles as a teaser trailer.

Enjoy (the brief) first footage of Namco Bandai’s Fullmetal Alchemist RPG for the PSP. The story follows the manga or “Brotherhood” anime series and is set to come out on May 20.

Namco Bandai + RPG + Portable = No US release.

    • You are forgetting the fact that this is an famous anime related game + namco bandai = 50% US release

      • Actually, IT’S OVER 9000 % = Dragonball game US release

Going back on topic, why won’t Square Enix just localize this? After all, doesn’t it own the FMA IP?

        • Actually, its oover 9001% ;D, yeah but i “think” square enix just have their name for publicity, after all, the publishers ive seen to be releasing the most anime related games is namco bandai at least in the west

  • I really want this game to come to the US. Companies like Square Enix are trying to figure out how to popularize Japanese manga in America. Well, releasing anime games like this would help, too! Come on, Namco Bandai! If you guys know your facts, you would already know how popular FMA in America is!

PSP’s games don’t sell very well in the west + Namco Bandai bad habit for publishing game in the west = Chance for release pretty low.

    • Amelia, please do remember that Namco Bandai’s priority is Dragonball, to the point it’s even neglecting Tales.

      • B4ULoveShine, please do remember that Namco Bandai’s priority is Gundam, to the point it’s even neglecting Dragonball.

        • No; since Namco Bandai’s North American reunion with the Dragonball license, it has been releasing ALL Dragonball games from that point on in the NA market.

Also, name a Gundam game WITHOUT the name “Dynasty Warriors” on the title, since the merger, that has been released in North America.

I Hope they localize it,seems really nice.

Didn’t this game have a release date for Eu already? I think it was FMA: Brotherhood how it would be called here.
