About That Monster Hunter Felyne Spin Off All of the Monster Hunter Freedom 3 excitement put MonHun Nikki: Poka Poka Airu Mura news in the background. Capcom set August as the month to launch their “felyne life” game.

 

While there are monsters to hunt, Monster Hunter Diary: Poka Poka Felyne Village is more of a simulation. The goal of this game is to experience life as a Felyne and expand the village. Think something like Animal Crossing meets Monster Hunter for the PSP.

    Have I already told you how much I hate felynes?

    I pretty much just use them as live bait. I told my main felyne to just train defense, because my only interest is not for him to attack, but for him to not die long enough to keep the enemy away from me.

    My favorite things in monster hunter are the felynes and the pigs… mix this with animal crossing and you have my perfect game ! The monsters are very cute, too… Please Capcom, bring it overseas ! (I’ll buy Tri on Wii, I promise)

    If Tri goes well over here, which I’m confident it will, I could see Capcom bringing this over. I’m interested, always wanted a Animal Crossing with monster slaying elements.

    The cat on the bottom left hand side is awesome. I would be interested to see this brought over but the chances of that happening don’t look too good. MH is not that big here so bringing over a “kiddy” looking (not that there is anything wrong with this game I like it) spinoff that focuses on one of the games mascots does not seem like something Capcom USA will be interested in.

    OK after watching the vid, I need this game. Sales and profits be damned , get hot Capcom!
