Aksys is, of course, publishing BlazBlue: Continuum Shift in North America. They officially confirmed a release for the West, announced a summer 2010 window, and sent over a bunch of screenshots.

Street Fighter IV : Super Street Fighter IV :: BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger : BlazBlue: Continuum Shift.

The upgraded game has four new stages, three new characters (including the console exclusive μ-12), and legion mode from the PSP port. Newcomers will appreciate the revised controls beginners mode and tutorial mode (don’t be intimidated!). Challenge mode is for the pros. Like Calamity Trigger, this game has worldwide online play.

In Japan, Arc System Works has BlazBlue: Continuum Shift scheduled for July 1st. While an exact date hasn’t been set, Aksys’ summer launch window can’t be too far from its overseas debut.

    • ElTopo

    • raymk

i hope its not either and does like SSF4 were its a least lower, It can be at least 50 dollars but knowing them and previous releases its prob going to be 60. which is fine in my book as there not as big as capcom

Weren’t the Guilty Gear revisions usually cheaper than a full game? I’d imagine this following suit.

  • Having seen that trailer I have to ease up on Toshimichi Mori—his character designs look awesome when animated. (also dude in a suit and fedora that is one of my favorite things besides girls with glasses, もえええ)

Maybe I’ll jump in and try to learn fighting games with this installment! (…but probably not)

=) Day one. Hopefully we get a snazzy limited edition like we did with Calamity Trigger.

  • Over 400 hours poured into BB:CT. Day one purchase, and going to do the same thing with CS.

  • Will get this IF I have the money. It´s kinda hard getting it without them. I just hope that the interest for this title will grow and that it will be compatible with EU PS3 gamers.

Since I´m getting the NTSC version and I have friends who want to play this :)

I hope it’s $60 with crazy Limited Edition swags.
