Mega Man 10 Special Stage Bosses Revealed

By Spencer . March 22, 2010 . 10:51pm

imageCapcom formally unveiled three more robot masters for Mega Man 10. Enker, Punk, and Ballade are waiting at the end of each pay-to-play special stage.

Do these Mega Man Killers look familiar? They should if you own or owned a spinach green Game Boy. All three of these Wily built robots were made for Capcom’s Mega Man (aka Rockman World in Japan) Game Boy games. Capcom brought them back for Mega Man 10 downloadable content.

You can get Special Stage 1 and Enker on the week of April 5 for 100 Wii Points, 80 Microsoft Points, or $1.00 of your PlayStation Store credit.

Special Stage 2 with Punk from Mega Man III and Special Stage 3 with Ballade from Mega Man IV make their debut on the week of April 26. Each stage costs 100 Wii Points/80 Microsoft Points/$1.00. Quint and his deadly Sakugarne pogo drill aren’t in Mega Man 10.

NO QUINT!? That sucks. :( But im all over these 3!

I’m sure we’ll see Quint and Sunstar sooner or later ;)

Hate the nickel and diming, but I’ll get them I guess.. I’m at Wily’s Castle right now, thank god it saves in the middle instead of making you start all over again every time.

You know easy mode is actually not that easy, but definitely helpful easing you in, normal is regular masochistic, I can’t imagine hard mode. Good thing I got it on PS3 this time, Dual Shock 3 is best for playing Mega Man.

Classic Controller works great on the Wii too. Others like the remote alone, NES-style. I completed the game on Easy mode (which I agree wasn’t easy) and am now at Wily’s 1st stage in Normal mode. My first 3 or 4 attempts on stage 1 had be taking a beat down. Damn this game is tough! But I love it. This is actually my first Mega Man game. I’m glad it had the Easy mode to ease me into it (relatively speaking), plus my kids like the game on Easy mode, so a double-win. We’re looking forward to Bass and all the special stages and modes now.

Dear Capcom, please release full versions of your games to begin with and charge the full $20 or whatever it costs instead of this downloading unlock codes for $2-5 or whatever. Blah!

      No kidding.

Ill probably pick up MM10 in a couple months when I’m finished school / have a job. Hopefully by then Capcom makes a cheaper combo pack of all the downloadable contents or something.
