A Giant Sized Helping Of White Knight Chronicles 2 Screenshots

By Spencer . March 26, 2010 . 12:53pm

In preparation for its summer launch, Sony released more White Knight Chronicles: Awakening of Light and Darkness screenshots than a giant troll can carry.

These may need a little bit of a preface. The horned girl with green hair is Miu. She’s one of the new playable characters. The armored fellow, who isn’t a towering knight, is Scardyne. White Knight Chronicles: Awakening of Light and Darkness also has the Moon Princess, the series’ first female giant knight. Level 5 unveiled the character at Tokyo Game Show, but we haven’t seen much of her since.

Yes more screens of this game can’t wait for it to come out even more.

I was happy with WKC as a first time effort, though I do hope this one improves on the weaker parts of the first. Also it doesn’t seem like any effort was made to up the graphical quality for the sequel so I really hoping some significant changes are being made to the battle system, story structure and pacing for WKC2.

I hope for an early release to the US in 2011

The graphics are still pretty bad. That’s a bummer.

Judging from these screens, nothing has been done to change or improve the battle system. There’s that same cursed combat circle there. *sigh*
Oh, well. I’ll still end up playing this since the first one ended so abruptly. It really only felt like half the story was being told. I guess that was the point, though.
    :P

Good, WKC characters! You’re looking kinda Uncanny Valley!
