Square Enix Action RPG Coming To Japan PSN “Very Soon”

image Over Twitter, Square Enix teased a downloadable action RPG for PlayStation 3.

“Good news for Japanese PS3 users! I just heard that we might be seeing an Action RPG title coming out for Japan PSN very soon,” Square Enix DLG tweeted. No hints on what the title is so it could be a PlayStation Classic like Parasite Eve or something brand new. Your guess is as good, or maybe better than, mine.

So far, Crystal Defenders and Thexder Neo are the only two downloadable made for PS3 games published by Square Enix.

    Ah, Parasite Eve.

It reminds me about how impatiently I’m awaiting Third Birthday.

It wouldn’t be Parasite Eve anyway, unless they can do it without the license to the name.

I totally forgot about the game even though I imported the game full price from Japan.
I was all excited about the movies and Dolby Surround, but I never finished it.
Living close to NYC and knowing the Natural History Museum and Carnegie Hall well, the environments were interesting.

I hope you’re aware that there’s a third Parasite Eve being made.

I would actually purchase this. I bought the game TWICE and lost at least one of the discs each time.

  • For some reason, I don’t think of Parasite Eve as an Action-RPG. The first title that popped into my mind was Brave Fencer Musashi. Although that could already be available there. I don’t know.

    Vagrant Story perhaps?

Stinks that this is only a JP announcement. I would love to play Parasite Eve on my PSP, oh well its not like US/EU will never get it.

A HD version of Vagrant Story would be awesome. Just do what Rare did with Perfect Dark.
