By Spencer . March 30, 2010 . 12:44am

abne1The home version of After Burner Climax is less than a month away. Xbox 360 owners get it on April 21. A day later the downloadable game comes to PlayStation Network. Sega added unlockable avatar items as a bonus for the Xbox 360 release.

Both versions have twenty stages with branching paths, three jets to use (F-14D, F-15E, and F/A-18E), online leaderboards, and four paint jobs.

How much? 800 Microsoft Points ($10) or $9.99 on PSN.

Awesome, I can’t wait to geive this a try. No one (IMO) makes better arcade games then Sega, I don’t know why I feel that way but there is just something about them. As a side note I would love a HD remake of the first Crazy Taxi on PSN.

Have dumped a lot in the arcade cabinet. It is a great game though for $10 I hope they add at least a couple variations to keep it fresh considering I can beat the arcade game in about 5 minutes with four credits.

I endorse this idea. For $10/800MSP it would be great. They could also add that city level that was in CT3, just for better value.

Thanks Sega I will pick it up on the Xbox 360, the console that DOESNT remove features that I use every time shit hits the fan.

Great price, I was expecting it to be 1200 pts, for me it’s like $8 since I got a 4000 MS pt card for $40 :) Virtual On is on sale for 800 pts right now this week too. I can’t wait for Guwange..!

  • I can’t wait for this, heh. Sega, you have been quite good to me this year! First, Ryu ga Gotoku 4, then this, and Sonic 4 as well :)
