Lost Planet 2 Xbox 360 Bundle Packs Making Of Documentary

Microsoft and Capcom are making a Lost Planet 2 hardware bundle just for Japan. The package includes an Xbox 360, 60GB hard drive, Lost Planet 2, headset, media remote control, wireless controller, a ton of cables, and a 2GB flash drive.

All of this can be yours for 24,800 yen ($265). In addition to Lost Planet 2 branding, the flash drive is preloaded with “premium content”. A making of Lost Planet 2 movie and episode digest are on it. So far, Capcom hasn’t said anything about releasing these documentaries overseas.

In North America, Lost Planet 2 Gamestop pre-orderers get two maps: Back to the Island and Helix. We get the game, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, on May 11.

Lost Planet 2 confuses me — I guess there releasing a brand new demo soon too, for 360/PS3. I kind of want to be interested, co-op gameplay, giant monster things and pewpewpew, but Capcom just hasn’t been making enough information available on what all the game will have in it for me to put money down. If only they’d release more information they could maybe grab my attentionnn.

It seems like multiplayer is the main attraction this time.. not too interested in this game, didn’t finish the first one yet (I was on the snowy field at night trailing these people). Flash drive is cool, but faceplate is cooler, the one that came w/ the first game was pretty nice.

    • They are releasing a demo! And we have advance codes… which we’re going to give out soon :)

Neat~! Color me interested in demo codes! But yeah admittedly never played the first game at all, I’ve eyed it a few times, but there’s just something going on with the 2nd game that seems to be drawing my attention more this time.
