Hey, These Monsters Weren’t In The Clash Of The Titans Movie

By Spencer . April 6, 2010 . 2:26pm

Giant sand worms? Chimera? Colossal skeleton knights? Those weren’t in the Clash of the Titans film, but they are in Game Republic’s video game adaptation.

I suppose, a game with only giant scorpions and harpies to fight would be dull. This trailer is missing something though. While Persus battles a dozen or so monsters and hammer throws a giant lizard, the Kraken is notably absent.

Oh, ignore the May 28 release date. That’s just for Europe. Namco Bandai Games America has Clash of the Titans slated for “summer 2010”.

Music sounds cooler here, the movie was okay, Sam Worthington didn’t get much to work w/, should’ve seen it in 2D instead of 3D.. Medusa and “Release the Kraken!” were definitely the highlight.. Wonder if this would have QTE like GoW or Heavenly Sword. Gemma Arterton, who will also be in the Prince of Persia movie, was hot. Liam Neeson’s shiny armor reminds me of Saint Seiya lol..

Actually… this game.. looks pretty decent!

      yeah maybe!

Looking forward to this, since Game Republic also made Genji for PS2 and PS3, this indeed could turn quite promising!

Yay, Mads Mikkelsen (Draco in the movie, for the ignorant)! “Ignore the release date”? Assuming no europeans read this, you are correct, Spencer. Never been a fan of any movie-license games but this looks like one of the better ones so far.
