Nippon Ichi is giving the visual novel genre a chance with Disgaea Infinite. They took their lovable Prinny mascot and made him the central character of a murder mystery.

This particular Prinny acquires the Tick Tock, a tool that lets Prinny possess other characters like Etna, Laharl, and even Disgaea 3 stars Mao and Raspberyl. When possessed, Prinny can hear that characters thoughts and control them. Like most visual novels, Disgaea Infinite has a branching storyline with multiple endings.
Disgaea Infinite is set for release this summer. Retailers peg it for June.
