Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker x Monster Hunter 2G: The Trailer

Konami posted a bunch of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker trailers from yesterday’s press conference. This first video captures the game’s biggest surprise (yet?), a collaboration with Capcom’s Monster Hunter franchise.

Gotta love the bit about cooking rations. That wasn’t a gag either, Snake can actually do that in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Feylnes, the helpful cat-like creatures in the Monster Hunter series, can help Snake out by giving him items.

Now for movies that don’t have monsters or Axe body spray. Here’s the opening and a tactical espionage trailer.

  • With all the crazy gadgets that Metal Gear has this doesn’t surprise me and also I heard of another crossover which involved robots from S-E’s Front Mission series.

rar, yep apparently word is, the different “Metal Gears” you fight in the game you’ll be able to earn “parts” that can be carried over to the upcoming Front Mission on the PS3. Hard to said what’s what though since FM is coming out on both PS3 and 360. Seriously though, Peace Walker, you’ve gone above and beyond the call of duty so to speak >w<'

    Looking forward to playing this.

  • Ahhh! if only monster hunter had those wpns… life would be easier

Well, the grenades, rocket launchers and land mines should even the odds for me against these monsters. lol this will likely be the only time I wont suck at Monster hunter.

I still don’t understand why put the versus number to 6, it would have been much better if it was 4 vs 4 since it better focuses on the co-op play on both sides. But anyway, i bit surprised with this game. Its putting out so much content that makes some high end console games look pathetic. Kinda makes me wish this game comes out for psp2 instead or ps3 since it will improve through graphics and the controls will suit more to mgs fans.
