Only Two Months Until Fairy Tail: Portable Guild

By Spencer . April 8, 2010 . 6:14pm

imageKonami set a date for their team action Fairy Tail fighting game. In Fairy Tail: Portable Guild players clear quests in groups with up to four players. That’s right, this is another ad-hoc PSP game. How many possible teams are there, you say? 435, according to Konami, and that number includes made for the game characters.

Fans of the series can pick Fairy Tail: Portable Guild on June 3. No plans for a North American release have been announced at this time.

A western release is likely out of the question (especially since we never got those Bleach Carnival games either) though a bit off topic I must say I really wish animes like Fairy Tale, Bleach and One Piece were shorter. I find it really hard to keep up with the constant box sets that seem to never end. Its a shame but I usually dont buy an anime thats longer then 52 episodes (besides D.Gray-man which sits at 80)

Well Fairy Tail is destined to be shorter (Its so far up to 24 episodes) because A-1 Pictures is a higher quality studio then Toei or Pierrot and I’m pretty sure it costs more to produce a Fairy Tail episode then a One Piece or Bleach episode, so It may end around 50 or 60 episodes.
