“Several” Kingdom Hearts Titles Being Planned

“Several” Kingdom Hearts Titles Being Planned Director Tetsuya Nomura is giving vague hints about the future of Kingdom Hearts again.

 

“I can’t really give many details, but we do have several titles being planned and some in preparation for development, so I hope you’ll look forward to those in the future,” Nomura said in a fan fueled question and answer session.

 

Is “several” more than three?

 

The last mention time Nomura talked about the series was in the Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep Ultimania where he said “two titles other than Kingdom Hearts 3” are in the pipeline.

    Nothing, lol. Just giving the guy a hard time since he was complaining about this being old news. Just because it's old news for some sites doesn't mean it is for others.

    For Siliconera, it was new. Therefore, it's fine.

    While I love me some KH, the first one was the best in terms of story. So simple yet beautiful. Then it went and exploded into madness T_T

    Agreed. Once the whole Organization XIII plot started it turned a bit too nonsensical for my liking. I want more Disney.

    Organisation XIII was fine in itself. It's the stuff involving Ansem, xenonort and Riku that in itself was horribly convoluted and confusing.

    I actually like the OC's, think they're one of the better parts of the game story-wise … … … if only they were written well.

    I wouldn't say no to more Square-Enix characters, though. Or rather, the ones that do exist need to appear more, and have larger roles.

    Yep, I'm gonna keep up with the KH games even though I was disillusioned after … what, 2?

    The gameplay's fun, at least =D

    I think what got to me most was that while all the convolutions were very detailed, it was still horribly vague at parts. What bothered me was more the script and the characterization itself, though, than the plot (which was actually what had gotten me off my lazy butt to finish KH1 and all of KH2 in one go).

    KH + side stories = immediate love. (arguably, aren't all the games out thus far part of the main story? Just from different points in the timeline?)

    you didn't understood me, i love silicon Era, but the news of KH yesterday were full of mistakes, the first spencer forgot about larxene, and evrybody did jokes about it

    The second is this news which came from somewhere in the poast, where nomura said that aside KH 3 he was working on another 2 titles, and then they phoenix dowened this and beside three games added several…

    So the KH news yesterday … i will not praise, and y did you asked if i were from the staff?

    I recently bought Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days and… where are the disney characters? I thought these games were suppose to have them? Maybe I just haven't gotten far enough, but I'm on the verge of getting bored with this game already and I have yet to see a Disney character. More importantly, though, does this game ever move beyond “go to the same area you've gone to 5 times before and just attack enemies, then return to the castle”? It's not exactly proving to be what I expected.

    Like how Nomura ditched the Final Fantasy characters as a stepping stool, it's getting to the point where he won't need the Disney ones anymore either.

    I really think that Nomura is just a giant dick. :/ But that's just me…
