Blazblue Gets Its Own Arcade Stick

imageBlazblue fans, Aksys has an arcade stick just for you. MadCatz, the makers of the Street Fighter IV stick and Resident Evil 5everything, have an official Blazblue: Continuum Shift stick.

That’s it on the right.

Arc Sys/Aksys’ Blazblue arcade style controller has eight buttons with optional turbo built with Sanwa Denshi parts. The joystick can be configured as a D-pad, left, or right analog stick if you use it for games other than Blazblue. Deathsmiles comes to mind… and with a 13 ft. USB cord you might be able to reach your couch without an extension cord.

The Blazeblue: Continuum Shift limited edition tournament joystick is $199.99. Aksys is only making 3,000 of them – 1,500 for PlayStation 3 and 1,500 for Xbox 360. Each one is an individually number joystick. Check out more photos of the stick and click on to the order form on Aksys’ home on the Internet.

70$ markup for different art is just not gonna sell with me. Also this is the older model of the tourney sticks, their new models that came out with SSF4 look better imo.

  • With a price tag like that, they better be using genuine Sanwa parts.

I’d get one but I already purchased Hori’s BB stick last year.
Also, I don’t want sticks that don’t work with my PS2 fighters.

Maybe if there wasn’t any input lag when playing PS2 games on a BC PS3 I would agree with you. Fortunately for me I have a stick that can connect to my PS2 so I can play my old PS2 fighters.

This stick is awesome if not for the $200 price tag, which I would imagine is about as much as the Hori BB:CS stick imported from Japan.

I’d much rather just get a SF4/SSF4 TE stick for $130 and mod it with custom art and plexiglass for another $10.

  • Damn. Two things that bother me
1: As I can read, only US citiziens :(
2: I already got a great stick and I don´t have the 199.99US it costs plus shipment and added tax.

Otherwise, looking at the parts and all that everything looks great. But to expensive.
